Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laureano Montae took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PICO y PALA's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Abeitia came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Luan Fantini sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Laureano Montae recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Laureano Montae showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 25th match minute, PICO y PALA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Luan Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PICO y PALA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, PICO y PALA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Edelmiro Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Abeitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Malewicz in the 37th minute of play. Laureano Montae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Laureano Montae placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luan Fantini was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luan Fantini scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Abeitia made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Laureano Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Laureano Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of PICO y PALA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Laureano Montae sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Montae in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced PICO y PALA's goalkeeper Edelmiro Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Malewicz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when PICO y PALA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanko Stankovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, PICO y PALA's goalkeeper Edelmiro Abeitia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Luan Fantini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Laureano Montae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Edelmiro Abeitia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Edelmiro Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dariusz Malewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dariusz Malewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dariusz Malewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, PICO y PALA could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
