Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Inácio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Marquez came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ruben Paz sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Inácio Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Marquez having to interfere. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Inácio Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Inácio Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Inácio Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Pinho to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Inácio Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inácio Marquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Pontes during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Júlio Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Augusto Alvarenga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pinho came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Paz to maneuver through the defense. Dinamo Colorado's Kauan Martins was substituted for Júlio Pontes. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Marquez having to make a save. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Wellington Torres replaced Rafa Teixeira. Ruben Paz's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Paz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inácio Marquez saved Dinamo Colorado from getting behind. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela played a much better game than Dinamo Colorado and deserved their victory. The Dinamo Colorado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
