Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Blas Soter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kukova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stano Dubček didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Gong Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gong Yang got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 10th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. If Blas Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Róbert Behúň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbert Behúň. Róbert Behúň dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Róbert Behúň showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Róbert Behúň took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Behúň saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Urti during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kukova's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Gong Yang came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 39 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Róbert Behúň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gong Yang made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Soter in the 68th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Róbert Behúň tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After having played for 88 minutes, Blas Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Soter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Yang in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gong Yang hit a great ball. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Kukova to leave the ground with a draw.
