After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Michael Iurisch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Jagiellonia Bialystok's Michael Iurisch managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Jagiellonia Bialystok getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Barnaba Glozor hit a great ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Iurisch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Julian Hyska was substituted for Aleksander Winograd. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Dziatkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Budzynski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Michael Iurisch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Michael Iurisch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Iurisch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
