With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erkut Cenan in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. F.C internazionale's attentive Tomasz Hajto managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, F.C internazionale's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lyle Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erkut Cenan was the one to do the kick off. After 61 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Okaner Necmi who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tomasz Hajto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyle Flanagan. Lyle Flanagan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedir Serdengeçti in the 71st minute of play. Gilberto Tonete's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peru played a much better game than F.C internazionale and deserved their victory. The F.C internazionale players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
