Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walmyr Proença started the match with the kick off. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Paulinho Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Paulinho Chaves hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Haroldo de Sena - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zézinho Paraense during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmyr Proença's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Proença helped the player get up and apologised. Walmyr Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Tostão Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Haroldo de Sena. In the 61st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Alessandro Moraes tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Haroldo de Sena. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-6 in the 61st minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo de Sena, making the score, 0-7. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo de Sena. Haroldo de Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. 73 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo de Sena. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Haroldo de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo de Sena came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zézinho Paraense was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Zézinho Paraense got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Haroldo de Sena made a huge save. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Odd Van hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Haroldo de Sena in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
