Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Assunção made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükrü Yazargil got free with Rolando Noboa in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aloísio Esteves made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Yazargil in the 18th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Aloísio Esteves made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Şükrü Yazargil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Şükrü Yazargil slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MACAU. F.C's Anselmo Gama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind MACAU. F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Gama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Anselmo Gama despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Gama. Anselmo Gama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The MACAU. F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Joaquin Prats put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for MACAU. F.C. Angelo Assunção stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolando Noboa. 2-2. MACAU. F.C made a substitution. Daniel Correia replaced Aloísio Esteves. Anselmo Gama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Albino Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MACAU. F.C's Aron Vanghelie was substituted for Alberto Sobral. In the 78th minute, Daniel Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Anselmo Gama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Tenorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
