Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernanco Peso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Iruegas was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. In the 19th minute Fernanco Peso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Turan Elçibey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute of play forced Sporting Cristal's goalkeeper Jon Iruegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernanco Peso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernanco Peso. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Mastache in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Iruegas saved Sporting Cristal from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Sporting Cristal's Fernanco Peso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 69 minutes into the match, Fernanco Peso notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Fernanco Peso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Sporting Cristal made a substitution. Christian Luciano replaced Fernanco Peso. If Christian Luciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sporting Cristal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Delfino Rosario hit a great ball. After 85 minutes, Samuel Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Sporting Cristal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sporting Cristal's Jon Iruegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Cristal from getting a goal against them. Niguel Madariaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
