After 4 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Kıraç Uskan. Roy Makaay scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tzanyo Chonkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tzanyo Chonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Makaay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Old Dogs United's Czeslaw Mios got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Kıraç Uskan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Old Dogs United's Tzanyo Chonkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nenko Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Mios in the 17th minute. Kıraç Uskan got in the 22nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tzanyo Chonkov handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Oskitz in the 30th minute of the match. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Tang Qian Xiong managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vangel Madov in the 35 minute of the game. Roy Makaay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzanyo Chonkov having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Old Dogs United's zone, Roy Makaay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tzanyo Chonkov came out of the goal and Roy Makaay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Old Dogs United's Tzanyo Chonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kıraç Uskan in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Kıraç Uskan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Kıraç Uskan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tzanyo Chonkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Roy Makaay made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes FC Old Dogs United got a freekick which was hit by William Alin. Tzanyo Chonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tang Qian Xiong. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Oskitz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nenko Reza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Kirliev in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzanyo Chonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Angulo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Tzanyo Chonkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaverde Celeste Clube. FC Old Dogs United made a substitution. Veliko Kashukeev replaced Rocky Starlight. Roy Makaay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, FC Old Dogs United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Liverød to maneuver through the defense. When Roy Makaay came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Villaverde Celeste Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Makaay couldn't finish the play. Kıraç Uskan came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tzanyo Chonkov could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Roy Makaay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Makaay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Dobrin Tzúrkov in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Eduardo Angulo. Czeslaw Mios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nenko Reza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
