In the 33rdth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Matysek was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Cyprian Rekowskis short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 71st minute of the match Chile got a corner. FC Gdansk36's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Chile's Alan Tamayo to fire away a dangerous shot which Adam Matysek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Rekowski came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Adam Matysek in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek got control of the ball when Guillermo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line.
