Anselmo Gama made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Albino Cugat struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MACAU. F.C. In the 20th minute Zach Harrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bater Pivetta in the 21st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şükrü Yazargil in the 26th minute. MACAU. F.C's Anselmo Gama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassius Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Gama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 38th minute of play. MACAU. F.C's Anselmo Gama didn't even have to move. 47 minutes into the match, USA's Edward Mcdonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Gama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. F.C's protests and gave Daniel Correia a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes MACAU. F.C got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Correia. 91 minutes into the game, Khalid Parry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Anselmo Gama was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 minutes, Fabian Brown mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USA and the MACAU. F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Brown hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, MACAU. F.C's Daniel Correia tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
