Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paquito Franco in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 13th minute of the match, Paquito Franco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. LAMUSY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Ochabski in the 17th minute. LAMUSY's Robert Ochabski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play forced LAMUSY's goalkeeper Wieslaw Podowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Wieslaw Podowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wieslaw Podowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wieslaw Podowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Secada in the 32nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Kowalski in the 37th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paquito Franco was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paquito Franco's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Paquito Franco made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, LAMUSY's Gerrit Bogaerts got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Paquito Franco notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Paquito Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Paquito Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Kowalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Paquito Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Bogumil Kowalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 75th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Paquito Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Podowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
