Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonio Alzamendi kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Resentvig hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Glerum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Peter-Jan De Brouwer scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Resentvig came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Glerum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Alzamendi in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Alzamendi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saco FC. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 45th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Malam Drage fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saco FC's protests and gave Malam Drage a yellow card for diving instead. Malam Drage hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Phillip Glerum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th minute of the match Saco FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Dhaussy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antonio Alzamendi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Alzamendi in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Saco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phillip Glerum. Saco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Resentvig in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linus Resentvig took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Glerum having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Phillip Glerum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Phillip Glerum was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Alzamendi in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phillip Glerum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Phillip Glerum quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Saco FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
