Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mugurel Stanciu made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Adamowicz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucian Popeneciu. F.C Petru B.U.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, F.C Petru B.U.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Lucian Popeneciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play forced F.C Petru B.U.C's goalkeeper Lucian Popeneciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisc Buteanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Vuia in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Popeneciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. F.C Petru B.U.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Mexico's Facundo Cadaval getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. F.C Petru B.U.C's Lucian Popeneciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lucian Popeneciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Mugurel Stanciu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mugurel Stanciu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When F.C Petru B.U.C's Horia Vuia in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucian Popeneciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Alberto Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristi Sabău struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Petru B.U.C. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Lucian Popeneciu was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucian Popeneciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucian Popeneciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of the match. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Vuia, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucian Popeneciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after F.C Petru B.U.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The supporters of F.C Petru B.U.C booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joel Gaona got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lucian Popeneciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Lucian Popeneciu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Lucian Popeneciu made a huge save.
