Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Don Malbec's Camilo Sexto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. A hard shot 14 in the game by Ted Lasso from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Don Malbec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Sexto in the 23rd minute of play. Don Malbec were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramon Nafarroa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ramon Nafarroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Don Malbec's Ted Lasso got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ted Lasso took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Camilo Sexto got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The Don Malbec fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Don Malbec's Camilo Sexto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Emilian Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Camilo Sexto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Don Malbec the free kick. If Ted Lasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Lasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th of the match, Tomas Illescas tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Emilian Martinez got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 95thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Don Malbec's Emilian Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emilian Martinez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Don Malbec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
