The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adamantios Geronimidis was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Tonio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, C.A. LANUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Tonio to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Curcio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Silviano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Videla. Thanks to some nice moves Adamantios Geronimidis could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Zeledon Curcio however easily saved by the left post. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 73rd minute of play. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Jaunti in the 77th minute of play. Julian Silviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. Alberto Jaunti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Niki Bundev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Mergildo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaani Gómez in the 85th minute of play. If Alberto Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Feo came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.A. LANUS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
