Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristiano Messi made the kick off and thus started the match. Cristiano Messi took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Corinthians's Cristiano Messi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cristiano Messi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 27th minute Cristiano Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Messi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Corinthians's Cristiano Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Almeida having to make a save. Jaime Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jiang Yi Chong was slow to take the kick. During this time Corinthians's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Corinthians's corner Jiang Yi Chong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Messi in the 55th minute of play. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Messi went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Cristiano Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Messi in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corinthians made a substitution. José Vítor Ramos replaced Cristiano Messi. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, José Vítor Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho de Lara in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Corinthians players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
