An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Baki Lebib in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Baki Lebib was the one to do the kick off. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Artur Sarnat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 83rd minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Skikiewicz's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC GIDLE succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
