Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Voyager Soccer Team's Dênis Marques. But to his dismay, Dênis Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 15 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Bai Kun Yang took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Waldemar Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alun Harmon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 36th minute of play forced Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Voyager Soccer Team's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Waldemar Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.

Voyager Soccer Team's Waldemar Quintal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Voyager Soccer Team from getting a goal against them. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Waldemar Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 55th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Voyager Soccer Team's Waldemar Quintal got control of the ball when Abram Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Voyager Soccer Team's Cícero Leite was substituted for Alfred Owsiak. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Mastache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waldemar Quintal. That made the score 2-4 in the 82 minute of play. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Kun Yang in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Waldemar Quintal in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. Piotr Rybak scored 3-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
