In the 16thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feyenoord Malinovo's Rastislav Duch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Feyenoord Malinovo's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viliam Kaprálik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes into the match, Feyenoord Malinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rastislav Duch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Németh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rastislav Duch saved Feyenoord Malinovo from getting behind. USA's Monty Rogers managed to work through Feyenoord Malinovo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Monty Rogers dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Feyenoord Malinovo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gustaw Pawelczyk hit a great ball. Rastislav Duch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaw Pawelczyk made a kick off. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Pawelczyk in the 55th minute of play. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaw Pawelczyk's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Rastislav Duch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Peter Németh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when USA's Jenson Smith in the 76th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rastislav Duch was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Feyenoord Malinovo through an amazing save. The audience was convinced that Gustaw Pawelczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Feyenoord Malinovo's Rastislav Duch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Feyenoord Malinovo from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, Feyenoord Malinovo could leave the field as winners, despite USA having more of the ball for most of the match.
