An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 6th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Lopes in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lopes in the 21st minute of play. Tao Xi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tao Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 36th minute, but Rolando Noboa got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Peru hanging dry this time. After 39 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joost de Zwart, made in the 45th minute of the game. After 48 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Joost de Zwart. In the 50th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tao Xi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alican İçten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Tao Xi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alican İçten hit a great ball. Tao Xi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. Flames FC's Miguel Campos was substituted for Stoyne Dushev. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Joost de Zwart threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tao Xi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. When İbrahim Efe Hekimoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave İbrahim Efe Hekimoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Efe Hekimoğlu. With splendid footwork Rafael Gallo arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-5 by the left pole in the game's 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo.
