Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Maní FC's Gabriel Hauche in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pedro Manzanares was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Colombia through an amazing save. Pascual Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Pascual Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Hauche came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maní FC's Anselmo Indartsu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Santino Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pascual Pitin. Maní FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Hauche in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Maní FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Hauche ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gabriel Hauche made a great header on Maní FC's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Hauche in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Maní FC's Erling Gentenaar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. 43 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maní FC's Pascual Pitin. Pascual Pitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Santino Seco got a free kick in the 46th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Gentenaar in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Kevin Mastache came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pascual Pitin could save by the left post. When Wandy Petera fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maní FC's protests and gave Wandy Petera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Wandy Petera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Tafalla's late challenge caught a Maní FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the game, Maní FC's Gabriel Hauche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Hauche in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Hauche in the 84th minute of the match. Gabriel Hauche struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maní FC. A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Anselmo Indartsu hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Abram Secada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Pascual Pitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Colombia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
