Francesco Tripodi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Martien Overmars had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martien Overmars was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Metoděj Orság shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Drab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Oséas Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Dante in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Tripodi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Martien Overmars notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugon Drab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Hugon Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Dante in the 54th minute of the match. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Oséas Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséas Dante struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC KRÁLOVO POLE. In the 72nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Martien Overmars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC KRÁLOVO POLE's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Drab came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Dante in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Hugon Drab to make any attempt to save it.
