An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when istanbulls's Zeng Chong Kang shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luís Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Senna in the 85th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Göksel Canfeda in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
