It was a penalty for Ecuador! C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Maia in the 98th minute of the match. C o n f i a n ç a - SE succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
