Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Creangă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Toscano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Noia's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norberto Villegas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silviu Miclea took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Noia's goalkeeper Geovani Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Miclea in the 30th minute. Silviu Miclea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Manole Creangă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Miclea came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Noia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Peres to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Norberto Villegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Villegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Geovani Velloso in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Noia had played much better football throughout.
