Luis-Miguel Rienda kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Kai Rønne took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Modrzewski. Wasyl Modrzewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Dong Xi Jun took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Santiago Cañizares to make any attempt to save it. Foguera's Santiago Cañizares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Foguera from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dong Xi Jun in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Cañizares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, one of Foguera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Foguera. Santiago Cañizares had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Dong Xi Jun's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Dong Xi Jun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Santiago Cañizares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Ahmet Rıfat Reşat fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Rubio came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Villa in the 38th minute of play forced Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foguera's Santiago Cañizares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Xi Jun in the 43rd minute of play. Santiago Cañizares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dong Xi Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Xi Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dong Xi Jun to make the kick off. The throw-in from Ivan Rubio in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pirates of Black Sea's Taribo West. Foguera's Egun Montiel was substituted for Kai Rønne. In the 68th minute Dong Xi Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirates of Black Sea made a substitution. Chris-George Chevalier replaced Dong Xi Jun. A collision led to Foguera getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luis-Miguel Rienda hit a great ball. Chris-George Chevalier took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Cañizares. Santiago Cañizares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris-George Chevalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Tommy Dowrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Foguera's David Villa in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski got control of the ball when Ivan Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Dowrick in the 96th minute of play forced Foguera's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirates of Black Sea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
