The audience thought a goal was coming when Boguslaw Piglowski got free with Benito Sanz in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Marud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play.
