The audience thought a goal was coming when Şakir Okcan got free with Leon Kosmatka in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Cruz in the 48th minute of play forced HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
