The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Benino got free with Vinicio Aires in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Severino Benino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vinicio Aires. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Maxi Rodríguez could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Vinicio Aires however easily saved by the left post. Arda Ardashov scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Berenguer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Severino Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match, Severino Benino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vinicio Aires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacharias Siatzis in the 26th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxi Rodríguez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing the xeneise dream team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
