Driss Boukadida made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emir Haj Ouertani however managed to control. After 17 played minutes Rapsodas Red Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Julin. Kayazak carthage's Anouar Mabrouki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorrin Briones in the 19th minute of play. Jorrin Briones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anouar Mabrouki having to make a save. Anouar Mabrouki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorrin Briones, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Jorrin Briones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Mabrouki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kayazak carthage's Caid Bargawi got a free kick in the 24th minute. Anouar Mabrouki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Emir Haj Ouertani made the kick off in the second half. Jorrin Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the game, Jorrin Briones recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anouar Mabrouki. Jorrin Briones showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Jorrin Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Anouar Mabrouki was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Ahmed Baya put in a rough tackle. One of Kayazak carthage:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rapsodas Red Devils FC:s goal. Cristiano Salah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anouar Mabrouki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Camus hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Driss Boukadida kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Herminio Miera got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Salah who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Anouar Mabrouki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anouar Mabrouki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khaled Boumnijel came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Kayazak carthage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Mestiri to maneuver through the defense. Anouar Mabrouki was a little too slow when Cristiano Salah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Salah in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anouar Mabrouki saved Kayazak carthage from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rapsodas Red Devils FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
