Naim Ökmen might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Souad Brahimi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naim Ökmen ran back to his position shaking his head. Izydor Wasikowski kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naim Ökmen in the 5th minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Souad Brahimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Souad Brahimi was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Mecnun Eslem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mecnun Eslem really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Lech Poznań's zone, Naim Ökmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Souad Brahimi came out of the goal and Naim Ökmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Naim Ökmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Souad Brahimi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Oğuzhan Er showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Basinski in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Basinski in the 26th minute of play forced Cappadocia FC's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cappadocia FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Cappadocia FC's Naim Ökmen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Souad Brahimi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mecnun Eslem in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Naim Ökmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cappadocia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Naim Ökmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Souad Brahimi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led to Cappadocia FC's Sarper Cesman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sarper Cesman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Souad Brahimi came out of the goal and Rıfat Erdem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes, Naim Ökmen made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. KKS Lech Poznań's Souad Brahimi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Naim Ökmen made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Cappadocia FC's Mecnun Eslem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Souad Brahimi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Mustafa Hamit Tolgay made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rıfat Erdem however managed to control. Bülent Birdal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Souad Brahimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Ökmen in the 70th minute of play. Naim Ökmen was slow to take the kick. During this time Cappadocia FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cappadocia FC's corner Sarper Cesman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Souad Brahimi quite easily take care of the ball. When Sarper Cesman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Cappadocia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sarper Cesman couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Naim Ökmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Souad Brahimi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naim Ökmen's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Jacek Gdowik hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Rıfat Erdem put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Souad Brahimi. When the referee ended the match the Cappadocia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
