Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Key, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brendon Saville in the 3rd minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Saville in the 10th minute of play. Ian Sissons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Alf Key got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ian Sissons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute of play forced Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Santino Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santino Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Plaistow United's Brendon Saville fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Sissons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Plaistow United's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Ian Sissons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martynas Timinskas. Martynas Timinskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Ian Sissons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Plaistow United's Alf Key ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendon Saville made a kick off. Ian Sissons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Plaistow United's Brendon Saville made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Colombia booed when Plaistow United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Parkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 72nd minute of play forced Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Plaistow United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. After 74 played minutes Plaistow United got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Sustrai. In the 77th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Sissons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Sissons saved Plaistow United from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, Brendon Saville cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Sissons saved Plaistow United from getting behind. Ian Sissons made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ignacio Mastache sent off a good shot on target. Colombia were furious when Pascual Carballar was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Saville in the 96th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
