FC Viper's supporters rose to their feet, but Wojciech Kluska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wojciech Kluska who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Viper's Wojciech Kluska to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wojciech Kluska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ignacy Bierfass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ignacy Bierfass quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FC Viper's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced FC Viper's goalkeeper Ignacy Bierfass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Viper's Ignacy Bierfass. Ignacy Bierfass was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Wojciech Kluska left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Viper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 37th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Healy in the 56th minute of the match. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Wojciech Kluska's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Bierfass having to interfere. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Adam Healy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Kluska in the 75th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacy Bierfass didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Latkiewicz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacy Bierfass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The corner ended in Juan Sebastián Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Viper's Ignacy Bierfass did a great save. Wojciech Kluska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.
