Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduard Semeghin started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Seguinus came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Seguinus came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Vermeşan got free with Julio Vera in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Semeghin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Seguinus came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Seguinus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Rosendo Seguinus made a huge save. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Seguinus, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 64th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rosendo Seguinus could save by the left post. Rosendo Seguinus made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 71 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Ernest Petru hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Rosendo Seguinus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 74th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Semeghin's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rosendo Seguinus made a huge save. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rosendo Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Seguinus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
