Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patricio Mannuel started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Wennersten. Patricio Mannuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Tajo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Monky FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Tajo. Monky FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Felipe Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Monky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Andino made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. In the 35th match minute, Monky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Mannuel to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Mannuel in the 39th minute of the match. When Monky FC's Håkan Wennersten in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. When Andres Musko fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monky FC's protests and gave Andres Musko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Andres Musko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Felipe Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Håkan Wennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Patricio Mannuel put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gregorio Cucao hit a great ball. Gregorio Cucao hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Felipe Tajo made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Sein came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monky FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andres Musko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Andres Musko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Monky FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
