Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doctor Quinn's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Bektaş Ali Şencan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jânio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jânio de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 26 minutes, Doctor Quinn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballybunion Celtic F.C. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doctor Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jânio de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Doctor Quinn came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio de Barros having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doctor Quinn to strike the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Francisco Virues hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Luis Andino drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper. In the 75th minute Doctor Quinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Jânio de Barros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciarán Tierney in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jânio de Barros. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The audience was convinced that Doctor Quinn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doctor Quinn in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ballybunion Celtic F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
