An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 8th minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Evaristo Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Evaristo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Flu Lawyers Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Pazura. Evaristo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Gürhan İlenç made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürhan İlenç couldn't finish the play. Jaime Cazalla hit a great ball. Enio Berger got in the 44th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Joaquin Gayoso. This was a shot which ended in a score of 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Gürhan İlenç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Ronaldão Jaafari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flu Lawyers Soccer Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
