Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Club Real Cantera's Emanuel Phelipe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Club Real Cantera's Gaudencio Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. In the 20th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Emmanuel Reyes to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaudencio Frichoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaudencio Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 25th minute of the match. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luz Tejedor however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Real Cantera's goalkeeper Gaudencio Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gaudencio Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. In the 38th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Julian Murillo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gaudencio Frichoso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gaudencio Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Phelipe came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Ugutz's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Ugutz helped the player get up and apologised.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Club Real Cantera booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luz Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. Anthony Alvarado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Nicanor Gustau hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Emanuel Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Real Cantera throughout the match.
