Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kristi Koçiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 48 minutes NEGAN y los savadores's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Vinicio Librado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vinicio Librado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 63 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Kristi Koçiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Kristi Koçiu made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristi Koçiu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vinicio Librado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Librado having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
