Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alto Muro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alto Muro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cesano Boscone's Alto Muro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Miliano. Alto Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Cesano Boscone's Adrian Miliano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Miliano came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Adrian Miliano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Miliano in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Carter Malatesta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Carter Malatesta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Alex Maggi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Abdullah Oskan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cesano Boscone's Adrian Miliano in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Adrian Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alto Muro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Alex Maggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Luca Rouco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesano Boscone the free kick. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Guillermo McDaniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play forced Cesano Boscone's goalkeeper Alto Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Carter Malatesta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cesano Boscone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullah Oskan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Cesano Boscone's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Alto Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 98 minutes Cesano Boscone's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Cesano Boscone's Alto Muro managed to reach the ball for a save. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
