Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Peres got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the De Gulden Draak defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siim Kikas. The De Gulden Draak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siim Kikas should have stopped the shot. Manuel Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Manuel Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. Siim Kikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. Siim Kikas came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when De Gulden Draak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Rülke didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, De Gulden Draak's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Siim Kikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siim Kikas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siim Kikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Gulden Draak's Boris Rülke got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Manuel Peres took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Siim Kikas was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 4-4. After some careless play in the De Gulden Draak defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siim Kikas. The De Gulden Draak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siim Kikas should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 82nd minute shot 4-6 at rihgt post. Erwin Backes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Siim Kikas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91 played minutes De Gulden Draak got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Backes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Backes in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
