Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hasta Alfonso started the match with the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Beckeman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Kent Beckeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hồ Linda in the 14th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasta Alfonso in the 16th minute. Hasta Alfonso in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Noboa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harry Sandström hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hasta Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 27th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Miguel in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Glentown FC's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Beckeman came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Kent Beckeman managed to make a qualified save. Glentown FC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Beckeman saved Glentown FC from getting behind. Kent Beckeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 88th minute Glentown FC were awarded a corner. Harry Sandström went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Ronaldinho Miguel at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Peru. 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Beckeman. Glentown FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Gallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent Beckeman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
