The supporters of Venezuela booed when Leão de Judá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Cristiano Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristiano Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Leão de Judá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Caetano De Bruyne recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Caetano De Bruyne showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. A hard shot 35 in the game by Severino Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After 36 played minutes Leão de Judá got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Ramalho. Cristiano Azevedo scored 4-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Severino Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Jose Correa hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Azevedo in the 52nd minute of the match. Leão de Judá's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristóvão Bezerra in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on Leão de Judá's corner Cristóvão Bezerra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Severino Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Severino Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Hennenberg having to interfere. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Hennenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Azevedo in the 66th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Ramalho came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Soeiro went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Azevedo in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leão de Judá fully deserved thier win.
