Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, The Engineers's Fabinho Pitta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Kieran Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pitta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Pitta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 17 minutes in the game, Fabinho Pitta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 19th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, The Engineers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Beckett to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Floyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabinho Pitta scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when The Engineers's Fabinho Pitta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes, Fabinho Pitta made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Kieran Floyd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Pitta in the 37th minute. Seyfi Türk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabinho Pitta struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Engineers. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kieran Floyd. That made the score 3-1 after 53 minutes of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Fabinho Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Floyd having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fabinho Pitta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kieran Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Seyfi Türk in the 73 minute of the game. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fabinho Pitta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Zühtü Celvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When The Engineers's Seyfi Türk in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Fabinho Pitta put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Floyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabinho Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Engineers had played much better football throughout.
