In the 23rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. SARAY A.Ş's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gürhan Tüzeman came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, SARAY A.Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Birdal Nuratay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Birdal Nuratay. SARAY A.Ş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Gürhan Tüzeman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SARAY A.Ş fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The SARAY A.Ş players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

In the 94th match minute, SARAY A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Molodețiu to maneuver through the defense. Yao Xiang Sheng hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
