Gumersindo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Alisson De Gasperi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boomer Fc the free kick. Gumersindo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Boomer Fc booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Severiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Reyes got free with Armindo Salgado in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Bebeto Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gumersindo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 18th minute of play. During the 21st minute of the match Alisson De Gasperi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alisson De Gasperi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alisson De Gasperi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Reyes in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bebeto Gaúcho who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ayrton Senna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gumersindo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 33rd minute of play. Gumersindo Moreira came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan. But to his dismay, Shao Kun Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arthur Guerra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Froilan Reyes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Salgado having to make a save. Froilan Reyes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Reyes in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Reyes was the one to do the kick off. Joaquim de Barros's late challenge caught a Boomer Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Boomer Fc made a substitution. Marco Boniel replaced Froilan Reyes. In the 63rd match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Boniel in the 64th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Luís Caeiro made a precise shot to the right of Gumersindo Moreira. Boomer Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. VB-Team made a substitution. Sandro Leitão replaced Qiu Sheng Bang. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Parker in the 81st minute of play. Boomer Fc's Gumersindo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Tito Quintas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boomer Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Richard Parker took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Richard Parker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boomer Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Parker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
