Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 5th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Castellano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Club Getafe Deportivo's zone, Jonny Lagerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Castellano came out of the goal and Jonny Lagerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Club Getafe Deportivo defense, Sebastian Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Castellano. The Club Getafe Deportivo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Castellano should have stopped the shot. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Jonny Lagerberg. After 24 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Mild. Club Getafe Deportivo's Orlo Sarrate shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wilhelm Galle but with some difficulty. In the 28th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kind of Blue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joacim Hansson in the 29th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Zhuo Ke Le got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Iosu Bastida got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Curcio Carballeira to make the kick off. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
