With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Artur Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. VB-Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Artur Senna scored to the left of an out of position Armindo Salgado, making the score, 1-0. Artur Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Armindo Salgado made a huge save. Marta Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 30th minute of play. Fesport FC's Artur Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Senna scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Ekerot to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Senna got free with Armindo Salgado in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arthur Guerra hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Artur Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal and Artur Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lico Pareja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fesport FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lico Pareja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marta Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marta Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Artur Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fesport FC's Waldemar Polek was substituted for Constantino Casado. Fesport FC made a substitution. Gong Chao Feng replaced Artur Senna. VB-Team made a substitution. Traian Hăvârneanu replaced Joaquim de Barros. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Gong Chao Feng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Chao Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Gervásio Severiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Marta Rey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Chao Feng in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fesport FC had won after a very even match.
