Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eduardo Domeka kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Eduardo Domeka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Domeka took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Domeka in the 14th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Carabata Groove's Alberto-Federico Acosta. But to his dismay, Alberto-Federico Acosta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Orlando Casaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide was substituted for Andreas Möller. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Armin Atroce replaced Eduardo Domeka. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristobal Goito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 62 minutes into the game, Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Carabata Groove's Toninho Santos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Manzanedo, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carabata Groove's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cristobal Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. 77 minutes into the match, Hauk Hareide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hauk Hareide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 80th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hauk Hareide in the 82nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hauk Hareide, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Hareide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Ludzia. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cristobal Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. 95 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
